Clear & Present Danger for the USA, Obama and our World

Innovation, Leadership and the first Dollar

In these times: You can hear a cry for real leadership in our world. Greed, so empowered by media, runs rampant throughout our diverse cultures. Wall Street has failed us. So many within big business have failed us. Politicians, celebrities, and "big" personalities of every kind have failed us.

The people must rise up against greed and stupidity, and call on each other to volunteer to serve and lead.  Ethics, generosity of spirit, integrity and public service must stand for something. Those who create the first dollar are the backbone of a nation.

Who creates the first dollar?  Those who create the first dollar with real value have got to take back the high ground.

Let us all reinforce ourselves by studying and knowing the essential foundations that engender liberty, freedom, and human rights.  Let us study  the essential foundations of capitalism.  Let us understand the real models that open the door to put everyone on a path to economic independence.

As a people, the debate about capitalism should no longer be the domain of economists. We all need to grapple with the first principles of ethics, economics, and government. Virtually overnight globalization is a reality and belief systems are butting against one another, often shredding civility and undermining any inherent ethics and morality.

Each of us needs to engage in the historic debate about economic models. What works? What is good for people? Is this singular focus on "Return to Shareholders" a truncation of capitalism? Do we need to be looking at a more balanced model that includes more than the growth of the bottom line?

In the month of July 2012, a few of the facades were dropped so we all finally really began getting to know Barack Obama.1   As charming as he once seemed, Barack's agenda is not an historic American agenda.2   Of course, his charm got him into the White House and even that Nobel prize3, but it is wearing thin.  We all need to be asking, "Is there a deeper hidden agenda? What more damage can he do?"4

Just after his inauguration, we sent him a letter encouraging an all-out attempt to get the unemployed US citizens to  pursue a business of their dreams.5   No response.

We are now trying to put the pieces together. Re-reading key documents one more time, giving Mr. Obama the benefit of the doubt (but nothing more), the picture is still deeply troubling. It is critical for all the people of the world to reflect on what is happening within the USA. We are all in this together.   More...

Step 8: Exit Strategy

In 2009 there were "only" 11.1 million people unemployedIf at that time  every one of them were offered loans to start the business of their dreams, and if each had as many as five of our federal employees to rally around them, those businesses might have gotten traction and become successful.  More...

That's what we advocated in a letter to the President.  Even if 50% of the unemployed took out a very-low-cost loan of $30,000, we would have only loaned $150 billion dollars, the unemployment would have dropped under 6% and we would have been teaching the world about the power of small business.
