- Over 75,000+ small business owners in Michigan. That is over 10% of the total small business owners in Michigan. The national average is one small business for every 11 or 12 people. But given that Michigan has so many large businesses, we use 1:14. Thus, it follows that there are as many as 700,000 small businesses in Michigan based on a total population of just over ten million people! The US Census data has the number at 667,000 from 1997 statistics.
- Over 75,000+ small business employees in Michigan. Just one person from just over 10% of the total number of small businesses. If we get traction among the viewers, this number will grow the largest.
- Over 200,000 general viewers who use small business services in Michigan. About 2% of the total population. Virtually everybody everyday uses the services of small businesses.
- 200,000 people who want or need to start the business of their dreams: the under-employed among our large business - corporate employees and the unemployed. The unemployed alone in Michigan is over 500,000 people. All of them should be watching.
