The Working, Running History
April 2006: SmallBusinessSchool begins its campaign with local Chambers of Commerce, regional Economic Development agencies, our small business viewers throughout Connecticut, and the SBA-preferred lenders to develop a threefold program to do more local episodes:
1. Local sponsorship package for each of the local stations in Connecticut airing the show.
2. Membership Campaign to have small business owners and employees join their local station.
3. A Local Production Formula to begin producing no less than thirteen episodes per year within each DMA within Connecticut.
Small Business School
January 2005: The folks of SmallBusinessSchool watch the episode about succession planning and took it seriously. A formal succession plan has been initiated and special pages throughout the web site explain this new business formula.
Small Business School
January 2001: Nobody expected it to be still going in 2000, so we had to rebrand the show once again. This time it was to become SmallBusinessSchool. We were still naively believed that goodness will win out over the junk that is served up on commercial telelvision; I say it is exploitation as artform. We are still working on our formulas that could challenge the current television agenda and this page is very much part of a new formula. The series continued airing with local sponsorship from Verizon.
Small Business School
September 1997: We come to Connecticut to do an episode about Boardroom in Greenwich.
Small Business School
September 1996: We come to Connecticut to do an episode about PC Flowers and Gifts in Stamford.
Small Business School
January 1995: Because the show is perceived as news, we change the format to focus on just one outstanding business and the show is rebranded as Small Business 2000.
Small Business School
September 1994: Small Business Today begins airing and many Connecticut stations pick up the show.
