Open Letter: At one time and for many years Alabama Public Television (APT) carried the show. Most recently it aired on Sundays at 3:30 PM. There were many people in the state who wanted to see the show on the air and made sure there was local sponsorship to help support the station. Today, any group of CPAs, banks, economic development commissions, and chambers of commerce could sponsor the show and APT would put the show back on the air.

The New Small Business School in Alabama: Every PBS-member station in America needs more local support. Each also needs more grassroots productions where the community can gather and learn from each other.

A call for local producers: Small Business School is turning to each local station to begin to produce anywhere from four to thirteen episodes per year. Ownership of the show is being turned over to the stations, the sponsors, some of the viewers, and a few of the best local producers. These are where there are broadcasting towers throughout the state: Birmingham (WBIQ-10), Montgomery WAIQ-26, Demopolis WIIQ-41, Dozier WDIQ-2, Florence WFIQ-36, Huntsville WHIQ-25, Louisville WGIQ-43, Mobile WEIQ-42, and Mt. Cheaha WCIQ-7. Each city is linked to the Chamber of Commerce. At one time the local sponsor of the show was the Homebuilders Association of Alabama.
