- Best Practices Awards:
Every
Chamber could recognize the businesses that are profiled with some awards
ceremony each year, quarter, or month.
- Two Weekly E-mail campaigns:
One is invited email that is a one-paragraph summary of that week's show in
their area. The chambers could use these emails to keep their membership
informed of recent initiatives.
- A partnership with our Online
Learning
- Currently four courses for the business owner and four
corresponding courses for their CPAs (they earn CPE and have billable hours
with clients to understand and more aggressively use their financial
statements, the balance sheet, and key critical ratios).
- Course 101 is about First Principles, the foundations
for business.
- Course 201 focuses on issues from Employees to
Sustainability.
- Course 301 focuses on Growth and Building Equity.
- Course 401 is about Exit Strategies and Liquidity
Models.
- These courses can be easily expanded by industry type.
- More work can be done with the case studies within
publications such as Thomson's textbooks.
- CPE-4-CPAs: Launched in January 2004 and certified by the
National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Additional classes
for other industries could become part of this infrastructure very
readily.
