Creating jobs creates a legacy

Overview Transcript Case Study Video
Donald Dzekciorius has created jobs; he has created wealth; and he has made our world a better place.

Albany, New York: Infrastructure. Chemistry. Bonding. All keys for business success, but in this particular television show, we discuss them literally. You can find E-poxy working within the foundations of Statue of Liberty and absorbing the stresses within bridges around the world.

In this week's show we go to the state capitol of New York to meet a man and his team who make stuff that keeps water where it supposed to be. Meet Donald Dzekciorius, a New American Hero, and his son, Joel.

He has been in business since 1976. In that time he has created hundreds of jobs, and he has generated millions in sales. And, in so many ways, he has made the world a better place.

In the Lightbulb segment of the show, Hattie reflects on what she has seen here and concludes: "Infuse your business with fresh ideas."

THE TRANSCRIPT. We invite you to build your own business case online and interactively, a roadmap for your future. Register here and make it a collaborative project with your employees.

STEP 5. Creating a job for someone else, commiting to a salary, requires leadership ability. Commit at least an hour per day to sharpen your focus on empowering your people and their understanding of the business. One episode of the show that might be helpful is Albert Black's story about how he teaches his people about financials. It is extraordinary.

All of us, almost as soon as we start our business should begin working on our liquidity model and exit strategy; that is Step 8. The overview for Steps 5 - 8 might also be helpful. There is only one question to answer on this exam: What will your legacy be and how will you achieve those goals?

CREATE YOUR OWN VIDEO LIBRARY: THE KEY ISSUES WITHIN SMALL BUSINESS.
