Trisect the known universe into three approximately equal parts. Of course, the question must be raised, "Equal according to what parameters?"
The historic parameters of space and time do not easily trisect the universe in any immediately apparent and meaningful way. The proposed system would use base-2 exponential notation starting with the basic Planck Units, extended out to their logical limits. With space that would be to the Observable Universe. And, with time, it is the Age of the Universe.
These doublings will also be referred to as clusters, domains, groups, layers, notations, and steps. Each designation represented its own special perspective and necessary parameters.
