Craig Caryl, T-Bone Films

Santa Monica, California :  Two young men met in New York City, started T-Bone Films in 1993, then moved to Santa Monica to enjoy street sports 365 days a year and to grow their business. Craig Caryl does not have too much time for street sports anymore. Craig started hiring people in their second year of operation and then developed an intern program for those who want to get into the business.

The team at T-Bone Films  pioneered programming for extreme sport athletes and fans and they saw and embraces the web early.  This strategy helped Craig  doubled the business every year since beginning to offer full video production services in 1994.

Too much of television and the cinema encourage exploitive thinking.

Too little of it explores creativity, insightful thinking, integrity, and courage.

The #1 export from the USA is our movies, games, and television shows. We need to be exporting the genius of the USA and not the stuff that pulls us down to the lowest common denominator. We should be exporting entrepreneurial education and, at the very least, those sopranos who create musical harmonies not HBO's Sopranos who thrash values and make a mockery of small business. By lifting up exploitive behavior as an art form, cleverly shaping every second, HBO and so much of commercial television and our cinema, encourage the bad, confuse the weak and the marginal, and weaken the strong.
